Our new Gunsan plant opened in March of 2021. It is located is in the recycling zone permitted by the state of Jeolla Bookdo. Gunsan has four cable processing lines and delivers finished products directly to our consumers in Korea, China, and Japan. Gunsan was built in 1899. It is located on the Midwest coast of the Korean Peninsula. Once a small, poor fishing village on the banks of the Geum River, Gunsan has developed into a high-tech manufacturing industrial city and international trade seaport. Gunsan is famous for its culinary delights, including fresh bakery products and hot noodle soup. The city is also known for its love of America’s pastime: Baseball. The local commercial high school baseball team has won 11 national titles! Also of note, the United States Air Force currently operates Gunsan Air Base here.
